Developed in the last years of the Second Committee, the Everest pattern now known as the Sagarmatha experienced some of the bloodiest infighting ever witnessed in Union's history. Both SecComm loyalists and revolutionary forces fielded countless variants in fratricidal struggle.
The Sagarmatha pattern was not finalized by the time open hostilities commenced. As a result, each army had to arm and equip their own frames. In the closing years of the Committee Civil War, observers often noted how much some of these wayward siblings had evolutionarily diverged.
The Sagarmatha [G] Type saw combat in nearly every corner of space. For better or worse, the variant has become inseparable from the violent legacy of Union's modern founding. Its ideals made manifest through steel, gunpowder, and blood.
URLA 3rd Armored Brigade Whisky experienced intense fighting during the Siege of Europa. Now a terraformed logistics satellite, the second moon of Jupiter was vital to maintaining the Inner Cradle front of the war. SecComm forces committed nearly 20% of their peak wartime manpower and materiel to its capture. Enduring constant orbital bombardment, the deployment of multiple superweapons, and the previously undocumented early usage of paracausal weaponry, Whisky endured unimaginable levels of wartime violence.

"I don't believe in God or Buddha, but I do believe Whisky died for Union's sins."
Last recorded version of Whisky's squad insignia. The early armies of the Committee Civil War were loosely organized and standardized identification did not consolidate until the waning years of the conflict. The origins of this version are murky; there are none left to tell its story.
The remaining active members of Whisky perished in the closing weeks of the war in the defense of Makani Spaceport, one of Europa's last remaining operational launch complexes. All communication with the moon ceased shortly after its final launch. Union reinforcements would not arrive until the war's conclusion. No survivors were found, but Makani Spaceport was miraculously unharmed and still operational. For their valiant actions, Union posthumously recognized Whisky as one of the founding armies of the Third Committee and instrumental to its establishment.
A handful of Whisky's critically injured were escorted on the last shuttle off Europa before the moon went dark. While most would be rendered physically incapable of returning to active combat, their expertise and leadership would form the core founding of 7th Armored Brigade Highball.
